A New York native, Marlene has been creating art her entire life. Her travels take her to places - near and very, very far away - where inspiration is endless. A love of color and textures, especially those of the natural world, feeds her creative energy.

Trained and employed as an illustrator and graphic designer, Marlene finds a balance in her life between crisp computer work and the soft sensuality and surprises of color on fabric. Her line of textiles is lovingly called Marmalene.
